Economics Students Triumph at CUHK “AI in Entrepreneurship” Competition
Our Economics Department is committed to transforming classroom theory into real-world expertise. On December 13, our senior students participated in the "AI in Entrepreneurship" Workshop and Mini Case Competition, co-organized by the CUHK Business School and the Education Bureau.
The event kicked off with inspiring insights from the founders of AI startups FirstResume and 巫筆 (Chinese Writing Wizard). Following the sharing, our students were challenged to conduct a rapid-fire business analysis. Applying advanced economic frameworks, they evaluated value propositions, revenue models, and potential market risks for these startups.
Under intense time pressure, our representatives demonstrated exceptional critical thinking and presentation skills. After delivering a persuasive pitch to the judging panel, our school successfully advanced to the Grand Final and was honored as one of the Best Performing Teams.
This success highlights our students' ability to master complex economic concepts and apply them to the cutting edge of technology. We congratulate our young economists on their remarkable achievement and their ability to shine on a university-level stage.
